She is also the prolific writer of Regency romances, beloved for their wit and historical accuracy. The Poor Relation series, which chronicles adventures of love and scandal at one of one of Londons most popular hotels, has also been optioned for television. Marion has also has written under the names Sarah Chester, Helen Crampton, Ann Fairfax, Marion Gibbons, Jennie Tremaine, and Charlotte Ward.
